Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Seattle got a bit of unexpected snow Saturday evening which made me feel like a kid on Christmas. The boyfriend and I were eating dinner about to head out to see a movie when he proclaimed, “IT’S SNOWING!”
Now, for a lot of people this might seem silly. So what? What’s the big deal about snow? Especially in the winter? You see, Seattle doesn’t get snow very often. I’m talking MAYBE once a year if we’re lucky. I don’t think we had any last winter, it’s a rarity around these parts. And while usually it is horrendous when it snows (hills+snow+melting=ice, thus no one can drive and cabin fever sets in), this was the perfect rare exception. We had about 2 inches when I went to sleep around 1:30am Saturday night, and Sunday morning woke up around 10:30 and it was practically gone. So not only did we get to enjoy the snow, but we didn’t have trouble leaving our homes the next day! Best of both worlds, I tell ya.
Now, onto the outfit. I adore winter white, so when it snowed I obviously had to match and threw on my white jeans. I cannot get enough of these earmuffs (pretty much wear them every day, ask my co-workers) as they’re cute, comfortable, unique and warm. Then to add a pop of color I added my new favorite statement necklace I just received from Baublebar and a bit of camo (because why not?) with my favorite chambray shirt underneath.
What did you do this weekend? Let me know in the comments below! <3
