There is nothing better than a Seattle sunny day (although a sunny SUMMER day does in fact beat it). Christina and I headed to a random dock in Ballard and took some photos this weekend. There were some random people sitting in their car eating ice cream and staring at us, along with some people looking to put their boat in the water. Nevertheless, we prevailed. Hense the excitement in the photo above.
I love mixing prints. I used to be scared of it, but now it’s almost more freeing. I can mix and match my wardrobe in ways that I didn’t think were possible before, and it’s so much fun. Do you like to mix colors and prints?
This faux leather jacket I purchased from Walmart, I think one of the only trips I’ve ever made to Walmart (seeing as they won’t allow them here in Seattle city limits), as it was part of the Miley Cyrus and BCBGMAXAZRIA collection so of course I had to make my way there. Yes, make fun of me. But it was about 5 years ago, and…and….I cannot give any excuses. This jacket is actually pretty cute, I love all of the details it has, but the faux leather is pretty bad (I think it was about $20 or $30 at Walmart, what can I say?).
I love these sunglasses, they were picked up in Florence, Italy when I studied abroad there. Did I mention they’re prescription? :) yes, I had my glasses prescription put into them so I could wear them driving. They are quite possibly the largest sunglasses I’ve ever owned, but they’re fantastic. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made to turn them into my driving sunglasses.
I watched the Oscars last night and was live tweeting, so I apologize if I bombarded your twitter feed. It made it all worth it when I ended up WINNING an iPad MINI thanks to the #liveonkomo hashtag :) A huge shoutout goes to Star 101.5, Kristi, and Komo (ABC Seattle affiliate) for hosting the contest, I am still floored.

I’m a huge fan and supporter of mixing prints… although I often don’t match… my outfits are interesting.
