Even though my wardrobe is all over the map, I know what I like, and Rebecca Minkoff bags are some of my favorites. I have loved Rebecca Minkoff’s designs since I discovered her in 2007 when I started collecting handbags, and haven’t really stopped loving her designs since. I currently have 3 MAC’s, and one larger handbag, but my collection started off as bigger handbags. Once she came out with the MAC a few years ago, I loved it right away. When the mini mac came out about a year ago, EVERYONE started discovering her and got hooked. That was when my lime mini mac was purchased (last March or so) and it is the perfect handbag.
I use it during the week for lunches or happy hours, I take it to the gym so I can just take my phone, keys, ID, and a granola bar, and it is the perfect bag for going out at night, or a casual weekend running errands. Also, because it’s so small not only is it adorable, but it’s so much fun and that is why I got it in a bright neon color. It is the perfect “pop” handbag, and I cannot seem to stop wearing it.
A new piece that I have not been able to take off is the tartan flannel button up. I feel like such a typical Seattleite wearing it, it is so comfy, masculine, warm, and a fun layering piece. It is my new winter staple. You can dress it up or dress it down, and can wear it during most of the year here in the 206 which makes it worth my money.
Let’s see, what else is new. I mentioned in my last blog post I was seeing The Book of Mormon, the broadway musical, on Sunday. Holy moley, it was PHENOMENAL. I have been listening to the soundtrack on Spotify all day because I am addicted. It was absolutely hilarious, definitely a little raunchy (it was written by the people who created South Park afterall), but overall one of the best musicals I have ever seen. If you can get your hands on tickets, I would highly highly suggest it. Other than that, I went to the gym for the first time in MONTHS yesterday and I am ridiculously sore, but it felt so good. I don’t really make resolutions, but I want to start to workout more and be a healthier person in 2013, along with fully taking off my makeup every night, and being more positive.
I hope you enjoyed this post, see you Thursday with a new outfit! xoxoxo
