Crushing On Clothes…

Leather Accents

BeBe Trench | Topshop Leggings | Chinese Laundry Boots | France Luxe Ponytail Holder

This look is the perfect balance of edgy and comfortable, yet polished and put together. This trench coat (seen before here) I got from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this summer, and I absolutely adore the leather sleeves on it. It makes the “classic” trench coat have a bit more edge to it, and it makes it feel more youthful and fun. I never thought I would get as much wear out of it as I have already, but it’s the perfect raincoat to have here in Seattle.

This ponytail holder from France Luxe you’ve seen before here. I love this because it’s so easy to dress up a regular ponytail and make it look like you are trying when you’re really not. It adds a fun pop of color, and it’s so comfortable I can’t even feel it in my hair.

The boots I’ve had for YEARS. I saw them on the 3rd or so episode of Gossip Girl when it first aired on Serena and I went crazy searching for them. She was wearing the light gray suede ones, and I ended up finding these black leather ones. Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t get the suede ones because they would have gotten trashed in the 8-9 month long Seattle winter. Plus, black goes with everything and looks much more sleek.

I hope you all had a wonderful week so far, and I will see you this weekend for a new outfit post! xoxo

Wow! I was just putting together some ideas for a next blogpost/ video and wanted to feature a very similar style jacket!
You took the words right out of my mouth, the leather sleeves put a edge to a classic piece like your trench coat!

    Love it =)

I'm a 20-something fashion blogger who loves to put together outfits. Living in Seattle, I have a fun style of classic prep meets masculine twist. I have a hardcore handbag and nail polish addiction, and I have a big heart. My style icons are Nicole Richie and Lauren Conrad, and I’d rather Balayage than Foil my hair (mainly because Balayage is so much more fun to say). Look around, and enjoy!
