There is something about mixing and matching that makes dressing so much fun. When you get to wear a fishermans sweater and a tartan plaid flannel with a pearl necklace and skinny jeans is what makes fashion different for everyone. I wore this outfit last weekend when it was rainy and gross in Seattle (typical) and needed something cute and stylish, yet warm and cozy. This outfit, I must tell you, is EXTREMELY warm. It’s amazing what layers can do for you.
It’s Friday! What are you up to this weekend? I am currently on the Bolt Bus on my way to Portland for 3 or so days. This week our office has been closed but we all have been working remotely, so I get to head down to Portland a day earlier than I normally would be able to and spend time with the boy and his family. I brought a giant suitcase, my new camera, my laptop, purse, and presents. Yes, I looked like a crazy person with my 25 bags and it looked like I was moving to Portland when I got on the bus this morning. But thankfully I don’t have to take it home, so it won’t be as difficult on Monday – I can just throw everything in G’s car and we can head back up to Seattle on our own time :)

I’m chuckling at your description of your bus travel to get to your bf’s door, because it reminds me of when my daughter went from Pennsy to Illinois to visit her sister via bus – with 2 kids (1 in diapers) & many, many bags … and did I mention the stroller?!
