My ideal weekend outfit is a cute sweatshirt or sweater, jeans, and boots. There is something about it that is so comfortable and casual, yet chic. The faux fur vest is the perfect touch of glam to dress up the plain sweatshirt, along with the heeled boots. The sweatshirt was my favorite thing from the Neiman Marcus for Target collection, and I have to say I was overall pretty disappointed in the collection. I only ended up getting 2 things out of like 60, and Target still pretty much has everything in stock. Their collaborations usually sell out within the first hour of opening, so so say that they still have pretty much everything 2 weeks later is proof the collection wasn’t that fantastic. However, the sweatshirt is adorable, comfy and cozy, and pretty reasonable at $30 seeing as most of Target’s clothes run around $20-$30.

The jewelry for me is what takes this outfit over the edge, mostly because they are both have interesting stories behind them. Ann Taylor donates 65% of the proceeds of this bracelet (along with necklace and earrings)  to the The Evelyn Lauder Legacy Collection to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which is absolutely fantastic. The Count Me Healthy bracelets are a concept I have never seen before. It’s basically a way to tracking things throughout the day, or a way to keep track of a goal. For example, drinking 8 glasses of water a day. You are supposed to move one of the beads over the middle line for every glass of water you drink. Pretty neat, huh? They have them for all sorts of occasions – a bride, a mom, a sister, breast cancer, and more. They come in stearling silver, gold, or rose gold and even have sets. Have you ever heard of this company before? Let me know, I’m curious.

My alma mater men’s basketball team is playing here in Seattle this weekend, so we have 5 of our friends staying at our apartment over the next few nights.
