Seattle Snowstorm day 2! Thursday once again I woke up to it dumping snow and freezing rain. By this point my apartment probably has 4-5 inches outside, which is very a-typical of Seattle. I was definitely starting to get cabin fever at this point, so I went across the street to a local coffee shop to get some work done, blog, read, and drink tea in a change of scenery :) I was nice and cozy in my bright pink boots, cuddly sweater, and of course–the Celine. Can it get any better than this bag? This is the official debut of her on my blog, and I couldn’t be more excited to show you her with this outfit :) Snow makes everything more special and pretty looking (not that the Celine needs help in that department). The lamb leather is to die for–so jet black, so silky soft, so perfect. I have been wanting this bag for about a year now, but after seeing it on one of my favorite bloggers Laura, I had to have it.
I got rather lucky by finding this bag. I tweeted Peggy from the Downtown Seattle Flagship Nordstrom and asked if the company had any (btw I have the Mini Luggage Tote). Of course I expected her to say no–people are on waiting lists for this bag for 3-6 months. BUT I happened to call at the right time. A man bought his wife 2 Celine bags for Christmas, let her pick, and would return the other. She returned mine, and I had to shipped to me from California the next day. I have a lot of bags, I am aware of this, but I could get rid of all my bags and keep this one. That is how much I love it, how perfect it is, and how classic and timeless the bag will remain. I know some people will think I’m crazy to have bought this bag semi on a whim, but purses are just my thing. Do you have anything you prefer to splurge vs save on? Let me know in the comments :) hope you enjoyed this outfit!
