I wanted to revamp my wardrobe for spring (surprise surprise, my spring cleaning led to me buying more clothes…) I found a ton of items in my closet that no longer suited my style, so I cleaned out my closet, donated them to Value Village, and did some damage. I wanted to add in some neutral pieces I could wear all year round with everything I already owned, so I focused on picking up black, white, and gray pieces. I hope this gives you some ideas that basics don’t have to be boring. Enjoy! <3
Living in the city and being a blogger, you sometimes (read: 99% of the time) get weird looks when you’re taking outfit photos. So in those times, just do what Katrina does: tell said strangers you’re working on a school project.
I’ve spoken about this backpack in passing blog posts lately, but today I wanted to profess my love for it. I purchased it a few weeks ago in preparation for my East Coast trip and did not expect to fall in love with it as much as I did. I can honestly say it may be one of my most fashionable yet functional purchases to date.
Last week I was on the East Coast in DC and NYC. I would have put these photos up earlier, but I’ve been 85 all week and literally went to bed before 10pm every single night (jet lag is real, people). So I’m ending this week with a photo diary of my time in DC.
Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been traveling a ton lately and am currently in NYC! I haven’t done a Life According To My Phone post since February, and since it’s April (literally just typed March…crazy how time flies) I thought it would be a good time to update you on what’s been going on in my life. Don’t worry, I’ll do full recap blog posts of my trips to DC and NYC once I get home. Enjoy <3
