During the summer especially, I love multi-tasking products. The less products I can use to get ready in the morning, the faster I’m out the door enjoying life and living in the summer sun! Here are some of my favorite multitasking products, and just a few things that I can use them for.
Mac Vanilla pigment – this is an old school favorite of mine, as I have had it for YEARS! You can do so much with this pigment – you can obviously use it as an eyeshadow either wet or dry, but you can also add to body lotion for an all over shimmer, add it to your foundation for glowing skin, add a touch to the center of your lips after applying lipstick or gloss for a shimmer, or even add as a highlight on your cheekbones or down the bridge of your nose.
Aquaphor is probably one of the most multi-tasking beauty products out there on the market today. It’s intended use it for helping healing dry, cracked skin such as elbows, knees, or even patches on your face, but it can also be used as a cuticle cream, a mixing medium, a highlight on your cheekbones if you don’t want anything shimmery but just to make your skin look dewy and healthy), or even as a lip balm. The best part? It’s less than $5.
Dry Shampoo is a lifesaver, and my favorite one is Batiste. Not only do I use it as a dry shampoo, but I can also use it as a volumizing spray when backcombing, or to add texture to clean hair to make it look more piecey or easy to style.
Another cheap grocery store find, coconut oil can be used for everything under the sun including a cuticle cream, all over face or body moisturizer, hair treatment, makeup remover, and it’s even great to cook with as a non-stick spray!
